TS Galaxy caretaker coach Esau Mtsweni has made a bold claim that Orlando Pirates are the best after his team’s humiliating defeat in Tuesday night’s Betway Premiership.
Mtsweni was in the dugout for The Rockets in the absence of assistant coach Bernard Parker who missed the clash due to personal reasons.

The Mpumalanga-based outfit suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to the Buccaneers at Orlando Amstel Arena through strikes from Simphiwe Masilela, Tshepang Moremi and Boitumelo Radiopane.
The loss left Galaxy hovering above the relegation zone in 12th spot, with Mtsweni admitting that facing ‘the best team ever’ was a daunting task that proved detrimental to his charges.
“Obviously, if you play a team like Pirates, one of the big teams in Africa, you give them time on the ball, they will punish you,” Mtsweni said in his post-match presser as per Mahlatse Mphahlele.
“They are the best. They’ve got quality players, coaches hence I said they are one of the biggest teams in Africa.
“When you play them, you must know your story. They’re just the best you know. They are the best team.
“That is why they won the league. Best team ever.”
