Milford FC head coach and chairman Dr Xanti Pupuma is unsure of his future coaching plans in the Betway Premiership next season following their promotion via the playoffs.
Dr Pupuma led the Stallions to a third-place finish in the regular Motsepe Foundation Championship season where they qualified for the playoffs along with 2nd placed Cape Town City and Magesi FC from the top division after they finished 15th.

In the last game of the mini league, it was Pupuma’s charges that prevailed with seven points after holding Dikwena tṧa meetse to a 1-1 draw in Seshego on Saturday, joining Kruger United who gained automatic promotion from the Championship.
Asked if he will continue coaching the side, Dr Pupuma said he understands the demands in topflight will be demanding but will discuss the matter with his seniors and see what can work.
“I’ll talk to the chairman,” Dr Pupuma responded sarcastically.
“No, we are going to sit and talk about it with my leaders and see what is best for me, what is for my other job and for the team.
“I don’t want to compromise the team and my other job. So PSL is a bit demanding, so we are going to sit, go through the programme and see if it’s doable.
“If it’s doable then we will go on with it.”
