Royal Captain On Chaos & Non-Payment

Royal AM captain Lesego Manganyi states that they are firmly focused on playing football despite off-the-field issues that has seen SARS take control of matters.

Thwihli Thwahla has been on the news lately for the wrong reasons after failing to pay staff and playing personnel their December salaries with the KwaZulu-Natal-based outfit recently releasing a statement confirming that.

A month ago, Shauwn Mkhize, who is the owner of Royal AM, was invaded by SARS and it has been reported that there are amounts of money that were owed.

Unpaid salaries resulted in the players not returning to training in January for the resumption of the Betway Premiership and their fixture against Chippa United has since been postponed.

Manganyi made it clear that their main thing is to focus on playing with anything outside the field of play not in their control.

“To tell you the truth what’s happening at the club is not for players,” Manganyi told the media.
