Stellenbosch FC are set to complete the signing of Cape Town Spurs defender Siviwe Nkwali on a free transfer.
Nkwali recently won the U20 AFCON with Amajita in Egypt and has arrived back in the country today, and possibly be in Cape Town in the coming days.

The 19-year-old has been sidelined by the Urban Warriors for the majority of their Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign, though that did not deter his chances of shining at the recent AFCON tournament where he even won the Man of the Match award in the 1-0 victory over Tanzania.
At the beginning of the season, Stellies wanted to sign Nkwali in a deal that was going to see one player from the Cape Winelands outfit joining Spurs but that deal never happened after both teams failed to reach an agreement and Stellies waited for the right moment with Nkwali’s contract set to expire on 30 June 2025.
This publication has gathered intel that Stellies snatched Nkwali on a pre-contract with the player moving to Stellies in July.
Nkwali is believed to have signed a three-year contract with Stellenbosch with an option to extend.
