Mamelodi Sundowns will host Marumo Gallants at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on 1 August 2026 at 18:00 in their opening match of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season.
The former champions will be hoping for a better outing this time out after they relinquished the title to Orlando Pirates in a tense close race that was decided on the final day of the campaign.
They came second to the Buccaneers with 68 points, just a single point difference from league winners Pirates.
Sundowns managed four points from Gallants last season after being held 1-1 away in the first round of the season and an emphatic 3-1 victory at home in an alternating fixture.
