Mamelodi Sundowns have officially confirmed the exit of Head of Academy Shawn Bishop after 12 years of service.
Bishop, who recently completed a Masters degree in High Performance with the faculty of Human Movement at the University of Lisbon, looks set to make a move to Portugal after more than a decade at Masandawana.
“Thank you for 12 incredible years at Mamelodi Sundowns,” the club wrote on social media.
“Your dedication and guidance in the Academy has shaped young talents and changed numerous lives. We wish you all the best on your new journey!”
He looks set to be replaced by former Sporting Lisbon academy coach and scout Paulo Cardoso.
