Former NWU Varsity Cup star, Heaven Prince Julius Sereetsi is set to get an opportunity in top flight football after being snapped up by Cape Town City.
Sereetsi was named the best player of the North West ABC Motsepe league early last year after showing good skills and contributing a lot to the club.
He was also a key player in the NWU team, helping them secure a place in the playoffs, where Orbit College and Upington City ultimately gained promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
This publication understands that Cape Town City are edging closer to completing the signing of Sereetsi.
He has already arrived in Cape Town and is training with City, but the Citizens are trying to find the right balance as Sereetsi is in the final year of his studies.
