Ramoreboli Hits Out At Moroccan Media After Muthi Claims

Jwaneng Galaxy head coach Morena Ramoreboli was left fuming after accusations of beating Wydad Atheltic Club due to the use of ‘black magic’.

Jwaneng opened up their Group B campaign of the CAF Champions League with a historic 1-0 win over the three-time champions.

It marked yet another major scalp for the Botswana Premier League champions who dumped Orlando Pirates out the competition to reach the group stages.

But there were accusations of use of muthi after players were pictured in the warm-ups throwing a form of liquid at the corner flag.

The South Africa, however, took offense to the questioning stating they were undermining him after his tactical masterclass in Marrakech on Saturday evening.

“Guys, you are being unfair,” he said in the post-match press conference.

“I said they were doing warm-up, doing warm-ups before the game. Ah, now you are undermining me, you’re saying we won because of black magic! Don’t disrespect us!

“I’m very sorry because he can’t be talking like that.”

Jwaneng will now host Simba SC in their next clash on 2 December at the Francistown Stadium.
