South African attacker Devin Titus provided an assist as Maghreb Fes were held to a 1-1 draw by ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Champions League first leg preliminary round two on Sunday night.

Titus took his tally to six goal contributions in nine matches since making the move to the Moroccan champions.

The former Stellenbosch FC attacker set up Noureddine Oussama for the opener, but his goal was cancelled out by a late equaliser from the visitors who scored in the 93rd minute through Bamba Souhalio.

Maghreb Fes now have a daunting task when they travel to Ivory Coast for the return leg on Sunday, 25 October, looking to see out the result and qualify for the group stages.

In the Botola Pro, Maghreb Fes find themselves in fourth place with seven points, two adrift of first-placed KACM, after four matches.
