With Stellenbosch FC writing history by qualifying for the Last-8 in their first-ever CAF campaign, they will face one of the tough opponents left in the competition.
Steve Barker’s side received a humbling 5-0 defeat at RS Berkane on Sunday but had already wrapped up second place with their 2-0 win over Stade Malien last weekend.
As a consequence, the Cape Winelands side, who had to play all their home games away from their actual home ground at Danie Craven Stadium, finished second in Group B with nine points.
They will now face one of the other group winners, namely Simba SC, USM Alger or Zamalek.

Fadlu Davids’ Simba finished Group A at the top after beating Constantine 2-0 in the match for top spot. Simba finished the group stages with 13 points and just one defeat.
Meanwhile, USM Alger went through the group stages unbeaten and topped Group C with 14 points, scoring 14 goals and conceding just two.
Last but not least, Zamalek topped Group D with 14 points and unbeaten as well – they netted 11 times and conceded four.
