Carling KO QF Fixtures Confirmed

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have confirmed the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the Carling Knockout quarter-final fixtures.

After knockout cup record winners Kaizer Chiefs and other former champions such as Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City all excited in the Last 16, just two previous winners of the Knockout Cup trophy (Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu) proceed to the last eight, meaning there is a 75% chance of a new champion being crowned.

The PSL have now confirmed that the quarter-finals kick off on Friday, 3 November and finish on Saturday, 4 November, with Moses Mabhida Stadium hosting an exciting double-header.

“Polokwane City and Stellenbosch FC will kick-off proceedings on Friday night, 03 November 2023, when they lock horns at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Kick-off is scheduled for 19h30,” read the official statement.

“On Saturday, 04 November 2023, Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban will host a double-header which will see Richards Bay FC taking on Orlando Pirates at 15h00 followed by the eThekwini Derby between AmaZulu FC and Lamontville Golden Arrows at 19h00.

“The last fixture of the Carling Knockout quarterfinal stage will be the much-anticipated clash between Sekhukhune United and TS Galaxy FC at New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday night (20h00).”
