Latest Carling All Star XI Revealed

The latest Carling All Star XI has been revealed, with Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs having four players each in the current selection.

The Carling Black Label Cup is set to take place on 21 December, where Carling Knockout champions Magesi will take on the PSL All Stars.

Just like last year, the Carling All Star XI will have six current senior players, plus five DStv Diski Challenge stars – with all of them being voted by fans.

Last year, the Carling All Stars beat champions Stellenbosch FC 2-1, in an exciting encounter that saw Itumeleng Khune walk away with the Man of the Match award.

This year, though, Khune is not in the running, as he is currently a free agent, with Sipho Chaine currently holding the goalkeeper spot.

He is one of four Orlando Pirates players in the current line-up, alongside Relebohile Mofokeng from the first team and Jabulani Mokone as well as Mbekezeli Mbokazi from the DDC side.

Chiefs also have four players in the All Stars, namely Gaston Sirino, Bradley Cross from the senior side and Aden McCarthy and Naledi Hlongwane from the DDC team

The other three spots are held by Sundowns trio Bathusi Aubaas, Sphelele Mkhulise and youngster Vincent Mokoena.
