10-man Kaizer Chiefs kept their 100% starting record intact after a 2-0 win over Siwelele FC while Orlando Pirates hammered Sekhukhune United 5-0 and Mamelodi Sundowns drew 1-1 against Polokwane City in this weekend’s DStv Diski Challenge fixtures.

On Saturday, 10 goals were scored across four fixtures with the defending champions Pirates putting five goals past a hapless Babina Noko side to move into fourth place.

The Buccaneers kickstarted the day with their emphatic five goals against Sekhukhune who regardless of the heavy defeat stayed second.

Masandawana and Rise and Shine could not be separated with the sides sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Golden Arrows moved third on the log standings after an impressive 2-0 win over TS Galaxy.

In the clash between Chippa United and newcomers Milford FC, only a point a piece was delivered on the day after a 1-1 stalemate.

Runaway league leaders Amakhosi continued with their impressive start to the season by picking up their sixth consecutive win to extend their lead at the top to five points. Tashiel Rugananan netted the first goal of the match just seven minutes in.

Chiefs were reduced to 10 men late on (79′) in the game with Emile Dortley getting his second red card of the season.

Despite playing with a man less, Chiefs wrapped up the match in stoppage time with their second goal of the game to win 2-0 and secure the all-important three points.
