Cape Town City sensation Emile Witbooi has arrived in London to start his four-week assessement with Premier League giants Chelsea Football Club.
As first reported by iDiski Times, Witbooi, 16, jetted out to England for a one-month assessment after catching the eyes of the EPL side.
Witbooi joined City in January from the School Of Excellence and received his first national team call-up early last year when he went to represent South Africa’s U15 in the UEFA U16 International Development Tournament.
The 16-year-old sensation was named Midfielder Of The Tournament and Player Of The Tournament during the SAFA U15 inter-provincial tournament. The exciting youngster went onto bigger things by winning the Player of the Tournament in the U19 Bayhill Premier Cup, which was hosted in Cape Town.
He also recently helped the South Africa U20 side to win the COSAFA U20 tournament, as they qualified for the U20 AFCON next year.

He has been a menace in the DStv Diski Challenge for the Citizens, and his fine performances have resulted in Chelsea inviting him for a one-month assessment at their U18 side.
