AmaZulu Duo Set For Exit

AmaZulu are set to part ways with Augustine Kwem and George Maluleka with their contracts expiring at the end of the month.

Kwem, 26, is a surprise decision having scored 11 goals in 49 games for the club since his move from TS Galaxy and has already been linked with several DStv Premiership clubs.

iDiski Times sources have informed there’s been contact with Cape Town City, but the player and representatives are biding time on his next move.

Meanwhile, Maluleka, 35, played a bit-part role with just 17 appearances for Usuthu and will move on as head coach Pablo Franco Martin looks to rebuild the squad.

Experienced goalkeeper Veli Mothwa will continue at the club, despite speculation of a potential off-season exit while Riaan Hanamub has seen his one-year option activated.

It looks set to be a busy window for the KZN-based outfit after they finished 13th in the league.
