Manchester United stretched their winless run to six matches in all competitions after playing to a 0-0 draw in an English Premier League clash against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.
United had the first attempt on goal as early as the fourth minute when Marcus Rashford unleashed a shot from just inside the Villa box but Emilio MartÃnez pulled off a great save.
In the seventh minute, Morgan Rogers almost caught Andre Onana at the near post but his shot hit the side netting.
Alejandro Garnacho tested MartÃnez from the tightest of angles in the 38th minute but his Argentinean teammate made an easy save.
United had half a chance in the 48th minute with Rashford having a go at goal but MartÃnez tipped his shot over the bar.
Youri Tielemans forced Onana into a top draw save with a belter from outside the box in the 56th minute.
Bruno Fernandes was unlucky not to give the visitors the lead in the 68th minute as his well-taken freekick rattling the crossbar with MartÃnez beaten.
In the 76th minute, Antony attempted a far post curler from range, but it was too tame as MartÃnez again made a safe.
Diogo Dalot was at the right place at the right time as he blocked a goal-bound shot in the 90th minute as the sides shared the spoils in the end.
