Manchester United have announced the contract extension of goalkeeper Tom Heaton for another year till 2026.
Since making a return to the club in 2021, the United Academy graduate has continued to play a pivotal leadership role within the squad.
Heaton has since expressed his gratitude for his extended stay at his boyhood club.
“I am extremely proud to continue to represent Manchester United. As a group, we are all really excited for the season ahead,” he told the club’s official website.
“I am ready to support the team in every capacity as we prepare to get back to challenging for the biggest honours.”
