Banyana Banyana have received another R5,550,000 million in bonus money after lifting the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Just two days after the government increased their bonus for the WAFCON champions from R5.8 million to R15 million, on special request of president Cyril Ramaphosa, Banyana received more good news.
During a special celebration, long-time Banyana sponsor Sasol revealed they would be handing an addition amount of R5,550,000 to our WAFCON heroes, as confirmed by Charlotte Mokoena, Executive Vice President, HR and Stakeholder Relations at Sasol.
“I am delighted that Sasol as a sponsor will be paying you R5.5 million as reward to the players and the technical team,” Mokoena announced on Thursday.
