Chippa United and Orlando Pirates have announced their starting lineup for their Nedbank Cup semi-final at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Chippa have a chance to reach their second cup final in the club’s history.
The Eastern Cape-based side played a semi-final in the 2020/21 season and defeated Pretoria Callies, led by their current menor, Kwanele Kopo.
The Chilli Boys will aim to finish the season on a high note despite losing the last two league games against AmaZulu and Moroka Swallows.
United knocked out NC Professionals, FC Ravens, and TS Galaxy to reach this stage of the competition.
Pirates are playing their second successive semi-final.
The Sea Robbers are in a good run in the league winning the last five matches including a 7-1 win over Lamontville Golden Arrows.
Pirates are the highest-scoring team in the competition this season after netting 14 goals in three matches. They knocked out Crystal Lakes, Hungry Lions and Usuthu.
These two sides faced each other 22 times, Chippa United won four matches, Pirates won 15 and three ended with draws.
