City Secure Next Signing

Cape Town City have landed their latest signing Ntsikelelo Ngqonga as a replacement for Marc van Heerden.

The 36-year-old defender left City upon the expiry of his contract and it appears he will now focus on securing his UEFA coaching badges.

City have moved swiftly to secure a replacement with 21-year-old Ngqonga, who was available after the status sale of Moroka Swallows.

iDiski Times can confirm the two parties have agreed personal terms ahead of his official signing with Eric Tinkler’s side on a free transfer.

He featured 11 times for the Dube Birds last season as they retained their top-flight status under Musa Nyatama before the Marumo Gallants takeover and relocation to Free State.
