Cape Town Spurs have cut forward Keletso Sifama’s loan move short and allowed the player to return to Sekhukhune United.
Sifama joined the Urban Warriors at the beginning of the current campaign on a season-long loan from Babina Noko to reunite with Ernst Middendorp who worked with him at Kaizer Chiefs.
Immediately after joining, he suffered an injury, which kept him on the sidelines for almost half of the first round in the Motsepe Foundation Championship before he made his debut in the red and white of the Urban Warriors.
The former Chiefs forward struggled to settle at Spurs and could have contributed to the club’s poor start to the season.

Information gathered by this publication has confirmed that Sifama’s season-long loan move was cut short after Spurs terminated the contract and allowed the player to return to Babina Noko.
It remains unclear whether United will keep him for the remainder of the season or they will look for other loan options as they have plenty of players in that position.
