Kobamelo Kodisang has found a new life in Portugal after his move to Kaizer Chiefs didn’t materialise during the recent transfer window.
The 22-year-old midfielder was also linked with the Soweto giants earlier in the window but his representative Mike Maakab confirmed that his parent club Braga and Chiefs could not reach an agreement.
Kodisang was then close to a move to Primeira Liga side Chaves but it broke down in the last minute and then completed a move into Portugal’s second division with Moreirense, who got relegated last season and will aim to regain promotion to the Primeira Liga.

The former U20 international and Olympian has been on fire at his new club, collecting three Man-of-the-Match awards in his first six games of the season.
He’s also scored three goals and added one assist as he helped FC Moreirense to win all their first six matches of the season in the second tier in Portugal.
On the weekend, Kodisang scored his side’s opener and won the penalty for the second goal as his side beat Trofense 3-0.

Kodisang still has two more years on his Braga contract after his parent club activated a clause in his contract to keep the talented South African on their books instead of letting him leave for free this window.
