Former Orlando Pirates dribbling wizard, Mark Mayambela is currently in Lesotho to continue with his coaching badges.
The 35-year-old currently works as youth coach at Cape Town City and started his coaching career on a bright note, winning 2022 Engen Knockout Challenge as assistant coach under Byron Clotte.
He kept his winning mentality and led City’s U16 side to winning HBUFC Stanly Matthews U16 tournament.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder recently completed his UEFA B Licence via Irish FA in Northern Ireland, Belfast.
This publication has now learnt that Mayambela – ever the student of the game – is currently in Lesotho to complete his CAF B Licence, too.
The coaching course in Lesotho is expected to take at least three months, but it has four blocks of seven days.
The former Pirates winger revealed on his previous interview with iDiski Times that former Ajax Cape Town head coach Stanley Menzo inspired him to do coaching and his older brother.
