Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Collins Mbesuma has urged the Glamour Boys to turn their season around when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Sunday.
The cup of dreams is Amakhosi’s only hope of lifting silverware this season after failing to make the top eight and being booted out of the Carling Knockout Cup.

The Zambian international still holds the club’s record for the most goals scored in a single season (35) back in 2004/05 and has likened the upcoming tie as a war situation.
“Every time these sides meet it’s always heated,” ‘Ntofontofo’ exclusively told kaizerchiefs.com.
“A cup match is a different ball game and it will be about which team carries the day.
“I know Sundowns have been dominating and doing well, but I believe that anything can happen in a cup game. And Chiefs can turn their season around with a win. They need to approach the match with a cup game mindset and a determination to come out victorious.
“I’m confident that they have the talent to go out there and make a statement. It’s time for them to step up and show what they’re capable of.
“Playing against Sundowns was one of my exciting moments because we always wanted to prove a point. The current team must adopt a similar approach to what we had… just give it their all and leave everything on the field.”
The clash between Sundowns and Chiefs will kick off at 18:00.
