Ngoma Terminates Three-Year Deal With Al Hilal Amid Political Unrest

DR Congo international midfielder Fabrice Ngoma is available on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Al Hilal.

The highly-rated midfielder joined the Sudanese giants after being enticed by the project of his compatriot Florent Ibenge after a stint in the UAE Pro League.

And while they impressed in the CAF Champions League, they ultimately fell short on goal difference as finalists Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns progressed from Group B.

Ngoma impressed throughout this season, as his three-year stint with Raja Athletic Club where he won the Botola Pro and CAF Confederation Cup, but the recent instability brewing within Sudan that has halted professional football has now seen several players flee the country.

The player and club have reached an agreement to part ways with immediate effect in order for the player to continue his career elsewhere, walking away from a lucrative three-year deal.

“I can confirm we leaving Al Hilal. The club has been great and all the management no even one bad words,” his representative Faustino Mukandila of BSM Foot confirmed to iDiski Times.

“Unfortunately, the war is making it impossible for Fabrice to continue in such conditions.

“We want to thank the Sudanese people for their hospitality and wish them a better future.”

The 29-year-old is now eligible to join a club of his choice as a free agent and is not expected to be short of suitors.
