Orlando Pirates have confirmed their latest exit after the end of the 2023/24 season.
Pirates have announced that midfielder Fortune Makaringe will leave the club after five years since his arrival from Maritzburg United.
He won three MTN8 and two Nedbank Cup trophies, while featuring 147 times for the club, scoring 10 goals with nine assists.
“Words cannot fully express our gratitude and appreciation for Makaringe. Throughout his time with us, he consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism and discipline,” the club statement read on Tuesday afternoon.
“The Club will always be grateful for his contribution and wishes him nothing but the best in his future endeavour.”
Makaringe will not be short of suitors in the off-season as he holds extensive top-flight experience with The Buccaneers and The Team of Choice over the last decade.
He follows Cameroon international striker Souaibou Marou out the club as Bucs looks to build on from the 2023/24 campaign.
