Official: Richards Bay Make Truter Decision

Richards Bay chairman Jomo Biyela has confirmed that they have gone separate ways with head coach Brandon Truter after he failed to meet “performance requirements” for the season.

The Natal Rich Boyz fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat to 10-man Kaizer Chiefs in the Betway Premiership at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday.

Truter returned to the club on a second stint at the beginning of the current campaign to replace Vusumuzi Vilakazi but the indifference in results, which has seen Bay win just a single match in eight outings, has prompted both parties to end their working relationship.

“We did not fire the coach, however for our sanity it was best that we go our separate ways with our integrity intact,” Biyela said, as per SABC Sport.
