Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-up for this evening’s pre-season encounter against Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth Argyle at Banus Football Centre.
It’s been two days since Pirates arrived for their pre-season camp in in Spain ahead of the 2024/25 season. The Buccaneers will face English Championship side Plymouth Argyle F.C in their first friendly match of the pre-season.

Bucs announced one signing so far in Angolan winger Gilberto, but there have been few number of familiar faces in the squad who are yet to be unveiled.
Jose Riveiro is expected to give almost every player a chance to show what they can do or add into the Pirates team. The Buccaneers had a similar pre-season in Spain ahead of 2023/24 and went on to win two trophies.
The Championship side is coached by former Manchester United striker Rooney and he will look to start the pre-season at his new club in a good way.
