Pitso Arrives In Saudi Arabia

Pitso Mosimane has finally travelled to Saudi Arabia to start his new job with Al Ahli Saudi in Jeddah.

The South African tactician was announced as new head coach by the Saudi Arabian giants last week Sunday but had to wait for his visa to travel.

On Monday, Al Ahli confirmed Mosimane’s arrival in Jeddah.

He will have little time to prepare as the First Division club will play their next game on Wednesday against Jeddah.

Al Ahli started their campaign with two wins, two draws and one defeat, sitting on eight points – similar to Wednesday’s opponents.

The club, who are one of the big four in Saudi Arabia, has been relegated to the First Division for the first time in their history and it is Mosimane’s mandate to take the “sleeping giants” back to the Saudi Pro League.

Mosimane is taking his technical team of Kabelo Rangoaga (strength and conditioning coach), Musi Matlaba (head analyst) and Kyle Solomon (assistant analyst) with him to Jeddah, but confirmed he will work with a local assistant at his new club.
