Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro says the difference between playing Al Ahly and Pyramids FC is that they were gunning for top spot against the Red Devils but that his charges will now do anything to reach the final against the latter.
The Buccaneers could advance to their first CAF Champions League final since 2013 but will face a daunting task against a Pyramid side that managed to breach their defence at home even though both goals were disallowed by VAR.

The Spaniard, who has already confirmed that he will be vacating his post at the end of the current campaign, maintains that his charges will go all out in order to reach the final.
“We are happy to return to the advanced stages of the CAF Champions League, and it is an opportunity to return to the last period during which we were reaching those rounds of the competition, and we are waiting for tomorrow’s match to offer something different,” Riveiro told the media.
“He pointed to the difference between their previous confrontation against Al Ahly and the current Pyramids match, explaining.
“The difference between our match against Al Ahli and Pyramids, is that during the confrontation with Al Ahly we were facing it and we both guarantors of the ascension, and we fought to climb in the first confrontation and currently it is different, and we have a chance to reach the final.
“We and Pyramids played offensive football in the first leg, and we will do everything to play in order to reach the final.”
The match gets underway at 20:00 from the 30 June Air Defence Stadium in Cairo.
