Cristiano Ronaldo was named Player of hte Month March ahead of his side’s clash with Pitso Mosimane’s Abha Football Club.
The Portuguese superstar netted four goals in his last three games for Al Nassr, including a hat-trick in their recent 5-1 win over Al-Tai.
Overall, Ronaldo has scored 26 goals in 23 games in the Saudi Pro League this season and it will be a stern task for Mosimane’s team to stop the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
But despite Ronaldo’s win form, Al Nassr sit 12 points behind log leaders Al Hilal who have won 23 of their 25 games.
Mosimane’s side, meanwhile, are battling relegation and suffered a blow in their recent 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers Al-Riyadh.
However, Abha are unbeaten in their three home games under Mosimane so far, winning two and drawing one.
It will be a mammoth task to keep this record against Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, who also have players like Sadio Mane, Otavio, Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles and Anderson Talisca, who is ruled out of the clash due to injury.
