Saal, 30, who is now a free agent, since leaving GladAfrica championship relegated side Jomo Cosmos, pending a player dispute case that they lodged against Hungry Lions.
He took iDiski Times through his experience at Jomo Cosmos as well as the difficulties that he faced whilst at the Ezenkosi.
“My contract is finished, it’s been a messy six months at Cosmos, the last six months,” the former Stellenbosch forward told iDiski Times.
“The first six months were okay but after November, it just turned bad and sour.
“Not getting paid, I don’t know what their situation is but I took my matter to the PSL with the Players Union so they were busy fighting.
“Hopefully, I can get a positive response from the PSL. “

Saal came through the ASD Cape Town academy set up where he was a much sought-after individual after being the highest goal scorer at the 2011 edition of the u19 Bayhill Premier Cup in Cape Town.
“The last six months I was just sitting it out of my contract, training with a separate group of players at Cosmos that wasn’t part of the plans like they say,” continued Saal.
“They thought that the players that weren’t getting paid wouldn’t go to the Players Union and open up a case against the club for not paying us.
“They thought some of us would just accept it. This is normal in South Africa.
“I probably could’ve done much better, playing in a different position and learning the culture of the club.
“It was okay, I enjoyed it and I felt like something was gonna happen in a positive way but it didn’t come about.”
