The representatives of Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng, P Management Sports, have issued a statement on their client, citing “significant issues”.
Saleng had a great start at Pirates this campaign, scoring five goals in 13 games, including one in the MTN8 final, but has last featured for the club in December against Al Ahly.

His recent absence from the squad has come into question with speculation rife about his long-term future at Mayfair, with head coach Jose Riveiro continuously refusing to address the issue, saying he cannot talk about “health issues”.
Amid speculations and various versions of what really happened, P Management have come out and stated there are “significant issues at the core of the employer-employee relationship”. However, they also insisted together with their client, Saleng, they remain committed to finding an “amicable solution”.
“We are aware of the ongoing speculation surrounding our client, Monnapule Saleng. While we have refrained from making public comments due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the matter, our silence should not be misconstrued as an endorsement of the narrative being presented against him,” read the statement.

“Given the confidentiality of the matter, we will not be engaging in further public discussions.
