Shock Exit Loading At PSL Club?

Golden Arrows co-head coach Mabhuti Khanyeza looks set to leave the club.

Khanyeza, 42, moved into coaching back in 2019 as the assistant to Muhsin Ertuğral at Maritzburg United before having stints at AmaZulu and TS Galaxy.

He then landed at Golden Arrows in October 2020 where he worked under Mandla Ncikazi and Lehlohonolo Seema before assuming a caretaker role and later head coach appointment.

It’s been a spell of highs and lows, with an incredible start working with co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi as they had an early lead at the top of the table last season and then went on a run of 11 games without victory.

However, he managed to steer the ship back to safety and this season Musa Bilankulu and Kagiso Dikgacoi were added to his technical team as co-coaches, with various degrees of success as they are sixth with four wins, one draw and three defeats in eight games.

However, sources have confirmed to iDiski Times the coach signalled his intention to resign after their 3-2 win over Cape Town City this weekend.

It remains unclear whether Khanyeza has been lined up for a new job, but this publication has been informed he was not part of the club’s training this week.
