Relegation-threatened Cape Town Spurs have released experienced winger Surprise Ralani for a second time in the space of four months.
Spurs announced the signing of Ralani at the end of October after he spent some time without a club since leaving Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of last season.
In the short time he spent at Spurs, the 36-year-old made 14 appearances.
The former Cape Town City winger was released by Spurs in December but he was quickly recalled a few weeks later and asked to help the team survive relegation.
However, information received by this publication states that Spurs reached a new agreement with Ralani to part ways again.
The 36-year-old didn’t train with the Urban Warriors this week. He played his last game against Sekhukhune United in a 1-0 defeat away from home.
The Cape Town-based side will face Richards Bay on Friday with the hope of landing a big win to keep their slims chances of surviving relegation alive.
They are currently sitting at the bottom of the league table, eight points behind Bay, with six games to go.
