Mamelodi Sundowns have tied down teenage defender Thato Sibiya on his first professional contract and is now officially promoted to the first team.
The 19-year-old has been training with the Sundowns first team for several months now after starring in the youth set-up and DStv Diski Challenge.

And ever-present figure in the junior national teams and an U20 Africa Cup of Nations winner, Sibiya is widely considered one of the finest prospects in the country.
His agency, Jozi Talent, confirmed the news on Tuesday morning; |Congratulations to our client, Thato Sibiya, who has signed his first professional contract with Mamelodi Sundowns FC & been officially promoted to the First Team.

Sibiya will now be aiming to make his debut in the Masandawana squad, fighting for a spot against Aubrey Modiba, Divine Lunga, Asekho Tiwani and Fawaaz Basadien.
