Sundowns Talent Set For PSL Switch

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Thando Buthelezi looks set to make a loan move to Richards Bay.

The 21-year-old has been in around the first team squad over the past season as one of the leading performers in their DStv Diski Challenge squad.

However, he’s been limited to just one appearance within the fiercely competitive environment for game time in his position.

Buthelezi has been spotted with the Natal Richboyz during the pre-season and iDiski Times has been informed he’s set for a season-long switch to the club.

It’s been viewed as the perfect environment for the player to seek more minutes in senior football for the furtherment of his development.

Masandawana view him as a top prospect alongside the likes of Ntando Nkosi, Malibongwe Khoza, Siyabonga Mabena and Kutlwano Letlhaku who have been on the fringes of the first team.
