Motsepe Foundation Championship side Venda Football Academy have appointed Stanford Nkoane as the new coach for the remainder of the season.
After spending less than two months coaching the team, Venda parted ways with Vladislav Heric on Christmas Day. The Serbian was in charge of 10 games with a record of two wins, two draws and six losses.
With the Motsepe Foundation Championship season set to resume next weekend, Venda added Nkoane to the technical team for the remainder of the season. He will work with Rowen Hendricks, who has been serving as assistant coach most of the time.
Nkoane is familiar with the league having coached Baroka FC and Marumo Gallants. Venda FC added him with the hope that he will be able to rescue the side from being relegated to the ABC Motsepe League.
