Pitso Mosimane has finally lost a game since taking over as Al Ahly coach, but it took Bayern Munich to pull it off, as the European champions won 2-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals.

It was a run of 22 games unbeaten across all competitions, prior to this game in Qatar.

Robert Lewandowski’s 17th minute goal gave Bayern a one nil first half lead, but the African Champions put in a spirited performance.

In the second half Al Ahly’s confidence continued to grow as the game wore on, and they were never over-awed by the Germans.

But the Germans were far more clinical and with five minutes to go Lewandownski made it 2-0, as he headed in his brace.

Bayern will play Mexican champions Tigres UANL in the final on Thursday, while Ahly will play Brazilian side Palmeiras in the third/fourth playoff.
