Pitso Mosimane has revealed how Al Ahly will approach the game against Kaizer Chiefs.
The South African coach will face Amakhosi on Saturday in the CAF Champions League final, attempting to lift his second successive CAFCL trophy.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns boss has insisted his side will not change their approach against the Glamour Boys, despite facing a Chiefs team which will likely focus on defense.
“We won’t change the way that has got us to the cup final. We will go the way we’ve always played to win ti last year,” Mosimane told reporters.
“We go the way that has helped us to go to Qatar in the World Cup and we go the way that has helped us in the Super Cup. That is the way we play and we go that way.
“We don’t know any other way to play. We haven’t trained (this way) and decide to play the other way.
“I can’t be worried at how Kaizer Chiefs is playing. Not worried but aware and try to help my team to say, if we play like this, this is what I think the solutions should be, this is what we need to do.
“Awareness, yes! Worry, no! We’re here to worry about ourselves.”
Mosimane has lifted two CAF Champions League titles so far, his first with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016 and another in 2020 with Al Ahly.
