There will be a new Bayhill Premier Cup champion as Randburg and Ubuntu Football Academy booked their places in Monday’s final at Athlone Stadium.
In a tournament full of surprises, Randburg continued their excellent run, beating SAFA Cape Town Academy 1-0, thanks to a fine lobbed goal from one of the standouts at this year’s tournament, Mogale Mangena.
Ubuntu, the 2019 Engen national champions, meanwhile, edged out one of the tournament favourites, Cape Town City, with Losika Ratshukudu scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory.
The main final will kick off at 3pm.
Meanwhile, Stanturf United will face Antalyaspor JPM CT in the Plate Section final at 11 am, while Mamelodi Sundowns, who lost to Randburg in the quarter-finals, will face AmaZulu in the Mid-Section Final at 12h30. AmaZulu lost to City in the last eight.
