The draw for next month’s Bayhill Premier Cup took place on Saturday evening as Cape Town prepares for another edition of the country’s most famous U19 tournament.
The Bayhill tournament will run from 16 April to 21 April, with the opening rounds at Erica Park, before moving to Athlone Stadium for the final day.
Headlining the tournament will be U19 teams from several Betway Premiership outfits, including Mamelodi Sundowns, Stellenbosch, Cape Town City and AmaZulu, while other professional clubs that are in the draw include the University of Pretoria and Cape Town Spurs.
Three teams from outside South Africa will participate – Medeama Football Club from Ghana, and two Namibian sides, Riverheights Football Academy and CBS Talents.
