AmaZulu have confirmed that they have signed former Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United winger Thabo Qalinge.
Qalinge had been training with Usuthu for the past few weeks, hoping to impress Benni McCarthy.
The 29-year-old had been a free agent since leaving SuperSport at the end of last season.
Having begun his career at the SuperSport academy, Qalinge made his first impressions when starring for Mpumalanga Black Aces from 2012 to 2014.
He then spent five seasons at Pirates, playing in 79 games, before moving back to SuperSport in 2019. But he played in just two league and three cup games, with all appearances coming off the bench.
