Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has commented on his side’s 3-1 win over Swallows in the Soweto Derby at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
It was a hard-fought battle between the two Soweto giants, but Amakhosi managed to come out with maximum points away from home.
Baxter, was happy for the result, but disappointed to concede a goal, as they move to second spot on the DStv Premiership standings.
“Yes very difficult game,” Baxter told the club’s media department.
“The pitch was very, very troublesome and the wind was very strong, so it made good football quite difficult, but we produce three flashes of excellent play which got us three goals, and I think we manage the game quite well as it went on.
“I’m a little bit upset that we conceded a goal, it was a it was a bad mistake really for us as a team to concede that, switching off, but all in all 3-1 in a derby away from home is a good result.”
