Stuart Baxter has confirmed that three Kaizer Chiefs players are sidelined ahead of their DStv Premiership game against Royal AM.
The Glamour Boys will face Royal AM on Saturday and hope to return to winning ways after dropping points against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The visitors, meanwhile, beat Chippa United in their last DStv Premiership fixture, collecting their first win of the season.
Baxter has now confirmed that Dumisani Zuma, Leonardo Castro and Siyabonga Ngezana are still sidelined.
“We got Zuma out still, he’s just started his running, so he is increasing his running,” Baxter told reporters.
“We got Castro who is still recovering from his operation. He had quite a bad one.
“Lebo Manyama is on his way back, so he is selectable but we can’t go with him 100% yet, we’re integrating him.
“At this moment, we don’t have too many else, we’ve got a couple of bad ones, but apart from that, we’re not too bad.”
Baxter also opened up on the situation of Siyabonga Ngezana, with the defender being injured since the Wydad Casablanca games.
“Ngezana has got a serious injury. He’s been out, he was selectable for the Wydad game and after that I don’t think he was selectable. He’s had a serious injury, had operation and had all sorts of treatment,” he added.
“He is at the point where he is hobbling and jogging around the pitch at the moment.”
