Cape Town City have confirmed that their DSTV Premiership game against Orlando Pirates will be played in Stellenbosch.
With the unavailability of the Cape Town Stadium and Athlone Stadium for the game, the match, scheduled for this Saturday, will be played at the Danie Craven Stadium.
City confirmed the decision on social media on Tuesday.
“The club can confirm that our home fixture against Pirates will be played outside of @CityofCT in Stellenbosch, as there are no available stadiums in Cape Town,” the club tweeted.
“We thank the municipality of Stellenbosch and SFC for welcoming us at the Danie Craven Stadium.”
It will be the first time City play at the DC, which is the home ground of Stellenbosch FC.
