With, Ntsabo said to be their only signing so far, it has reached iDiskiTimes that United are now closing in on Sirgio Kammies and Brooklyn Poggenpoel who were both at All Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season.
Both youngsters are already with Chippa in the preseason alongside Ntsabo. Poggenpoel has been with ‘Igugu leKapa’ since 2020 after leaving Cape Umoya United and Kammies was in the books of Cape Umoya United also before it was sold to Venda Football Academy.
The last time Chippa finished in the top eight was back in the 2015/16 season when they finished sixth but they will be aiming to end that wait with a new wave of promising talent being lured to Gqeberha ahead of next season.
