Confirmed: Pirates Sign New Striker

Orlando Pirates have signed a highly-rated striker, who becomes their fifth arrival this window.

The Buccaneers have been on the hunt for a new forward amid their injury crisis upfront, with Tshegofatso Mabasa and Zakhele Lepasa still sidelined with injuries.

While Pirates are yet to announce the deal, King Faisal FC owner Alhaji Grusah confirmed that Kwame Peprah has completes his move to the Buccaneers.

“We have transferred Kwame Peprah to Orlando Pirates in South Africa. He has signed a three-year deal,” he told Angel FM as per Kickgh.com.

The 21-year-old joins Pirates after netting 12 goals in 32 appearances in the Ghanaian Premier League in 2020/21.

Former Bucs coach Josef Zinnbauer confirmed last week that Peprah was undergoing a medical at the club but Pirates have not given any update since, with Fadlu Davids responding with “no comment” when asked by iDiski Times senior writer Velile Mnyandu about the player.
