SuperSport United midfielder Jesse Donn says they’ve done their homework ahead of Saturday’s DStv Premiership game against Cape Town City.
Matsantsana are on the road in the opening weekend, and will play City at the Athlone Stadium on Saturday evening.
The 22-year-old midfielder says that Athlone Stadium can be windy, which make things tricky, but it will be the same for both teams.
The former Ubuntu Academy footballer is of course from Cape Town, and adds that they’re hoping to use the talent in their team to exploit City.
“Ja, I think we’re going to be playing in Athlone stadium,” Donn told the club’s media department.
“And it can often be windy there, conditions that we’re not specifically used to, but we’re not worried about that too much, it’ll be windy for both teams.
“We’ve done our research on Cape Town City, we know how they play.
“And we focussing on ourselves too. We have lots of talent and lots of quality in our team.
So we’re focusing on how we can exploit them with our talent, not so much on what their weaknesses and strengths are.”
