Victor Letsoalo’s agent Jazzman Mahlakgane has addressed rumours linking the Royal AM striker with Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
The in-form striker has had a great first half of the campaign, scoring nine goals in 15 appearances, including three goals in two wins against Amakhosi. He also impressed at international level, becoming the first player to score a hat-trick on his debut in last year’s Cosafa Cup.
The Glamour Boys were seemingly impressed with the 28-year-old’s performances and attempted to sign him this window.
However, Royal AM CEO Sinky Mnisi recently stated that Chiefs were not offering enough. Yet, there was hope that the Soweto giants would raise their offer but Letsoalo’s agent Jazzman Mahlakgane confirmed to iDiski Times that his client will not move this window.
“No, he’s not leaving, he’s staying until the end of the season or we’ll see what happens,” he said.
“Whatever offers there was going to be, it’s not is going to happen [now]. I was talking to Chiefs definitely, but I think that’s not going to happen.”
There were reports in local media that Pirates were also interested in the player but Mahlakgane insisted he hasn’t heard anything about the interest of the Buccaneers.
“I don’t know about Orlando Pirates,” he added.
Letsoalo still has a contract at Royal AM until the end of the 2022/23 season and it remains to be seen whether he will leave the club in the upcoming window.
